Icomec is a family business that started out in 1977 as a mechanical carpentry company and over the course of a few years developed into a manufacturer of videotape packaging machines. In 1990, in collaboration with a local abrasive tool manufacturer, it designed and built a new automatic machine for the production of abrasive flap discs.
In 1998, the company began the in-house production and sale of these discs. Since then, the company has experienced continuous growth thanks to its ability to interpret the needs of the end user and market trends.
Thus the range of products and markets served has grown and improved.
Consistency, quality, product safety (manufactured and tested according to EN. 13743), together with fast, flexible and reliable service are the factors by which we have gained the trust of customers in Italy and many foreign markets.
The company has been UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2002. In 2012 we registered the trademark 'Abraplus', which identifies our non-customised productions per customer. In 2015 we built a 1000m² extension, bringing the total usable surface area to 2000m².
